Hello and welcome to our brand new blog for London Cru – London’s first small scale winery. Putting together the winery over the last few months has been both enormously exciting and challenging and now with the blog up and running we have the perfect opportunity to share what we’ve been up to already and what’s upcoming.
We’ll be trying to make sure that there is something for everyone from the nitty-gritty basics of how grapes actually become wine through to Gavin our winemaker waxing lyrical about his new toys in a manner where geeky would be an understatement. To get started we’ve got a couple of pieces on some of the growers we are working with this year and introductions to a couple of the members of the team. We’ll be adding to these regularly over the coming days and weeks as we get into the swing of our first harvest here in SW6.
