WELCOME TO THE WINERY

This is our classic tour of the London Cru winery. Just a 3-minute walk from West Brompton station, on the tour the participants will discover how we make wines right here in Fulham. We will taste the current range of wines, explore how the wines were made, talk about our local regions, and provide an accessible introduction to how we do things.

THE EVENT

‘Welcome to the Winery’ is a relaxed, entertaining winery tour designed to unravel a few of the mysteries behind winemaking and allow you to taste exceptional wines made in London. All our grapes are sourced locally in England and during the tasting will discuss the methods used to produce each wine. Our winery makes small-batch highly acclaimed English wines and is the perfect point to explore the exciting developments happening in the space of English vino.

Our winemaking team will run this event so feel free to ask any burning questions you might have.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

A guided tour of the London Cru winery for one person which will include the story and tasting of 4 release wines.

Example wines to taste on the day (this will vary depending on availability)

2020 Pinot Gris Sparkling Rosé (750ml)

• 5-day skin contact gives this wine an elegant hue, peaches and rhubarb are a highlight in this unique fizz.

2021 Bacchus (125ml)

• For the last 3 years, we have been refining the style of Bacchus we love to share and serve with seafood. Coming from a single vineyard plot in West Sussex, this aromatic dry white wine is the English answer to Sauvignon Blanc. Gooseberry, grapefruit, citrus notes, and lively acidity make this the perfect pairing for all dishes that love a squeeze of lemon.

2022 Pinot Noir (125ml)

• Super carbonic, wild strawberries, red brambly fruit and floral notes. Our style has always been very light, cool climate, low extraction, and elegant. This year we doubled down this path with the goal of making a supremely pretty pinot.

2016 Syrah (125ml)

• Warm climate Syrah rounds out the wine hamper. Old vine, organic vineyards, from northern Spain produced brambly red berries, and concentrated fruits. Aged for 5 years in bottle this wine has a velvety finish and is the perfect accompaniment to roast dinner.

WINE TOUR AND 3-BOTTLE TOUR INCLUDES

The winery tour and tasting as above, but also will include a 3 bottle wine package to take home including Bacchus 2022, Pinot noir 2022, and Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 (Subject to availability these wines may change).

WINE TOUR AND 6-BOTTLE TOUR INCLUDES

The winery tour and tasting as above, but also will include a 6 bottle wine package to take home including Blanc de Blancs 2020, Bacchus 2022, Reichenstiner 2021, Pinot noir 2022, and Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 (Subject to availability these wines may change).
