  • Nose: This cool climate English Wine offers a fresh and lively aromatic bouquet, featuring bright notes of grapefruit, candied lemon peel, and gooseberry, all lifted by a zesty hint of lime. Subtle smoky undertones add depth and intrigue.

  • Mouth: Crisp and mouth-watering, showcasing the signature flavours of gooseberry and lime that are hallmarks of England’s cooler vineyards. A burst of green apple contributes to its refreshing acidity, while a gentle touch of oak on the finish adds a layer of creaminess and complexity.

  • Conclusion: Culinary and quaffable

  • Food: Anything you squeeze lemon and lime over, oysters, scallops, Vietnamese cuisine

We are thrilled to release our first wine from Foxhole Vineyard, a cornerstone addition to our range and already a favourite among London's finest restaurants. This wine is a perfect match for dishes that crave a splash of citrus—think buttery scallops or fresh oysters, which pair beautifully with its vibrant profile.

At Foxhole Vineyard, which spans 6.5 hectares, we have just 0.3 hectares dedicated to Bacchus, planted in 2007. These vines are carefully managed for low yields, and the 2023 harvest produced only around 1.3 tonnes of grapes with exceptional quality.

With only 1,200 bottles made, this wine is a limited release. Hand-harvested and gently pressed at our Fulham winery, it was fermented at a low temperature (14°C) and aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and a single neutral oak barrel (20%), enhancing its unique character and complexity.
